Writing Fees & Terms For Copywriting Services

You want copywriting help but wonder about the writing fees and terms? I want to help you meet your content goals. Here are some of my guidelines.

  • I work by the project so there are no surprises in what any job will cost. I deliver on time, every time.  
  • A deposit of 1/2 of the cost is due up-front from new clients and for jobs over $1,000.  
  • I reserve the right to charge additional "rush" charges of at least 25% of total project cost for jobs with deadlines of 48 hours or less, and at least 50% for jobs assigned on Thursday/Friday and due on Monday/Tuesday.
  • If project is killed for any reason after completion of the copywriting, I am entitled to full payment of agreed-upon costs.
  • If project is killed during the copywriting stage, I am entitled to full payment of all hours invested up to that point.  
  • All fees quoted include two rounds of revision. Additional revisions will be charged at my hourly rate.   
  • Good attitude, reliability and fun positive working experience are all included at no extra cost.  

Costs depend greatly on the scale of the project. These are the types of projects I do most frequently. If you need something else, give me a call and I can tell you if it's something I do. 

When beginning a writing project I always ask these questions.

1. Who is the audience?

2. What are the features and benefits of the product or service?

3. What is the unique selling proposition? (USP)

It's a good idea to think about these questions when considering hiring a copywriter.
