There are so many writers resources available, there is Writer's Market Deluxe that tells you who is accepting what writing styles and projects, and of course, Writer's Digest Magazine, that keeps us informed on what is going on in the literary world of writers.
I know it can get confusing on what you may need or want first. I felt very overwhelmed when I started out and there weren’t half the books that are available now to help you when beginning a writing career.
I spend a lot of time reading anything new on writing that comes out and looking for fun stuff for writers. As you can imagine, it's tough to get to everything!
