Market Yourself!

So many writers assume that if they write well, they will become known. This is just not true. Marketing yourself and your work is very important!

My tip. Find three ways to market yourself and do it at least once a week, every week. Don't think about the outcome. Just do it. It will be the best thing you can do for your business this year!

Ideas on how to get the word out:

1. Write articles
2. Send letters or postcards promoting your writing
3. Join local groups and attend meetings and gatherings
4. Social media
5. Join groups on-line that fit within your niche and help others
6. Pay it forward
