I love fiction as much as anyone. I write fiction! But the reality is that fiction is entertainment and therefore doesn’t have the urgency associated to it that is needed in selling e-books.
Now, I am not saying that you shouldn't write fiction if that's what you love to write. I write both fiction and non-fiction and publish all of them in e-book format. Once you have a following, it becomes much easier. So, if you love writing fiction...go for it!
